2010 YEAR-END REFLECTION POST.

I have no idea who will be reading this, or who will actually bother to come to my blog.
Because I did not blog for 2 whole months!! Let's hope my blogging bug will come back to me soon.
My viewership drop all the way down, so that doesn't motivate me to publish an entry.
In the mean time, this year's reflection post will be different from 2008 and 2009.
I don't wanna say the same thing/thank the people for what you guys have done.
Hmm.. I will only do that if I get back my results in Jan 10 2010.
That is including IF I pass my O levels, for now-zero confidence. I will retake, high possibility.
No effort put in(actually yes but..) = I don't expect anything in return.
Face the consequences, retaking is not the end of the world.

Anyway, I wanna reflect about the events of my life in 2010.
Because I keep saying my life is boring, is uninteresting, etc etc.
I keep ranting, complaning, and whining about how bad it is.
Why, just tell me why some people are perfectionist. ):
Can I be one of them?
So maybe pictures and words will help to tell myself : '' hey, it isn't that bad to be JiaHao, right? ''

I can tell anyone about how unsatisfied I am towards myself, my life.
From looks to friends to people around me.
I am still trying to get rid of the bad habit of NOT comparing with others.
But seriously, why is their life so perfect. I am very jealous of them, extremely.

The world is cruel, is very straight-forward. It is reality.
If you're better looking, you get better treatment from people.
If you're ugly, then all the people will despise you and it is just like the whole burden on your shoulder.
You feel sad, demoralised, unhappy.
I hate that low-self esteem whenever I see better looking guys on the street.
I hate myself even more I do not have enough $$ to change myself.
Unless I strike toto/4d/or win $10000000 from a lucky draw.

I guess this will be a very long entry? Is definitely a yes.

Anyway I can't believe it is alr 2011. Time flies..in a blink of an eye I am turning 18 next year. I realised there is no more time to waste. Do whatever I want, and strive for the best before regret. :)

1. 2E'07 ANNUAL GATHERING 2010(MID-YEAR)

We wanted to have another one in End Of Year, but then everyone's busy so we just postpone it to January instead. I hope I'll be a happy boy going to the chalet, and not a still-keep-thinking-of-my-O level-results-where-to-go boy. I already told them that I'll not be going if I do badly, because it is just being pretentious, someone who is trying to force a smile and acting that everything's fine. It's NOT enjoyable, because there is something inside my heart that's troubling me. So yup, I hope I'll be able to attend, you should know what I mean. *prays hard*

I miss everyone of you, can't wait to meet-up with you guys!! :D

Anyway, June chalet was really good. Everyone were in the living room, including Miss Chan watching soccer. Those who place bets on individual team shouted and cheered, alcohols, gamble in the middle of the night, not sleeping, etc. I enjoyed my friends companion :)

Miss Chan also recorded a video and interview everyone with her screeching voice(with everyone running away and refused to be interviewed), there goes his image hahahaha! Because pics & videos were uploaded on fb and we flooded the comment box. :)

Love my united 2E'07. Adding colours to my secondary school life-for all the things we had done and making teachers angry.

I need to thank all these people for helping out. Because I never ONCE help out at all in BBQ. :P

This class is just mad awesome. I can't describe the kind of hapiness in me while I am with them.
I do whatever I want, I laugh loudly, I scream, I joke, I tease. I don't care about my behaviour, because I guess everyone knows me very well about my character. I am not restricted to doing ANYTHING, just let it all out. Not to say, worry about them saying things behind me. They won't. I do not have to be scared of offending anyone&no boundaries of any kinda topic we're talking about,heheh.

If you see me keeping quiet, seldom talk, don't laugh out loud. SOMETHING IS STRANGE. Everyone will start to ask : '' Are you okay? Why you so quiet? ''.
Yes I am a VERY talkative person, irritating, love to piss people off. :P
Someone should give me an award please. I really deserve it.
My reply : '' No lah, very tired. *pretending to open mouth and yawn*, nope I'm fine. ''
But deep inside I know there is a reason, just no point saying.
I don't hate the person, just don't feel comfortable when he/she is around which resulted in me keeping quiet. That's all.

2E'07 was bonded together after Sec 2 camp with our class blog. We all still stay in contact, most of them are in my current Sec 5 class. We know each other for yearsssssssss. :)

2. MR WONG'S BIRTHDAY - 31YRS OLD! :)

I know everyone reading the above title wouldn't believe he's turning 32 in 2011.
Hahah, for me he still looks like 25 -_-'''

Before that, in order for us to do well for O levels.
We have to chase away the bad(drawn by someone to stick outside the classroom) LOL

I remembered clearly we went into the class when he's having A.Maths remedial.
Then those A.Maths students were all very happy because that means no more lesson.
Some even went home(from 5N2) immediately when we were singing birthday song.
Is like a surprise because we hide at the stairs beside our class, then everyone appear and sang birthday song to him.

His wife came to pick him up, so we follow him down to the car park to pass Mrs Wong cake&drink.

I admit that I will always complain to Miss Chan & Miss Jolene(when they were still in Yuying) about how boring your lesson is then they'll be laughing at me. Your lame cold jokes,dance and stories are the ones that attracted my attention. But lesson aside, You're a super nice teacher lah!! So glad that you're my form teacher from 2008-2009, 2010 I still regard you as my form teacher. :)

Anyway sorry for always talking bad behind your back, lol! & not doing well for Maths, pulling the whole class average down. Is like the most ah beng student who sleep in class do BETTER than me!! I think it will be another disappointment during the release of O level results. So yup, I am mentally prepared.

3. MR DANNY'S BIRTHDAY.

I think this is a very fun day!!
Oh we managed to skip Chemistry lesson as well by celebrating his birthday.
It is a good thing because I never do his homework, I guess. Hahaha! :P
Whole class hide inside the gents (yes includine the girls) which is right beside our class only.
Then we were all very excited while waiting for signs to come out and surprise Mr Danny.
So what can we do besides peeing in the toilet? TAKE PICTURES! :D

When Jojo or Samson call us to come out, everyone suddenly appeared in front of him, which in the first place only got Eugene in the class.
I think he got shock too, hahaha.

4. 5N1 GATHERING 2010

Okay basically I was just exhausted after a long day at work from 9am to 6pm.
But I cheated by leaving at 5.30pm, LOL!!
Met Cassandra at Bugis MRT, train down to TM, met XR&Jo, took a cab all the way to Aloha Changi.
It was a simple catch-up session with classmates(most of them didn't attend).
I was not-so-high, abit quiet, lazy to take out my camera to take pics.
Sony camera take lousy pictures in low-light condition.
I am so glad I own a lx5 NOW :)
Looking forward to shoot with LEICA lense-awesome much.

Had fun singing birthday song for December babies+the cake wrote Happy Graduation, 5N1. :)

But night time was really good with everyone's companion.
Watch Boys Over Flowers, then everyone gathered in a room to share ghost stories, and talk about lots of random topics.
We were so scared that no one dares to go to the toilet.
And I keep turning behind to see if anyone is standing behind me. Zzzzz!!
Oh yeah we even sleep together in a room!! Smelling each other's feet,hahaha.
This totally reminded me of those camping days in school though.

Cassandra, Jo & Eugene left early for work.
Sophia and Peihan woke up to prepare for breakfast.
Alfred and Dale went to the other room to sleep.
So when I woke up only left me, Pris and Ben.
I came out of the room because it was freezing cold!!
Then I tease Pris saying wah, YOU SLEPT WITH BEN LEH. DID YOU GUYS MAKE BABIES.

5. CHINESE NEW YEAR

I think CNY to me every year is the same, and is sometimes boring too.
I mean there isn't anything special, my family don't play majong and gamble.
And those relatives I have we seldom visit each other's house during this period of time.
In the past, yes. But now? Nope. Is like a few years we met once, maybe on the street or something.
Neither do we talk much either. How's life? Oh okay haha bye.
Is like talk for the sake of talking.

CNY to me is just about wearing new clothes, reunion dinner, visiting grandma's & 3rd aunt's place.
Chu 1 will be spent at Bugis watching a movie. Standard.
That's all. With a few of them visiting my house which sums it all up.
I wish I had a big family, had like 20 of us sitting tgt for steamboat.

6. CLASS PHOTO TAKING DAY

I am excited for today!! Woke up extra early to make sure that I look good in school.
Hello it is our graduation shoot. A big deal okay.
From sec 1 till sec 4, then N levels, then now. It HAS been a long way.
We're finally graduating, so this day was definitely important for the whole class.
All of us are 17yrs old-even older than the express students. :)

It was very high lah we painted our face for the informal shoots, some wear a mask(like chingay performance), the girls brought along kpop posters, even drew dbsk etc on their hands, it was just sooooooo fun. Our class is very united when it comes to all this kinda stuff.

And even after professional shoot, we took more pics using my sony camera.
Was praying to god that the pics turn out good with flash, and not some lousy quality.
You know sony cam really sucks, but the end result isn't that bad.
At least I'm satisfied, which is more than enough. :)

I remembered we say '' one more.. one more.. okay last one.. '' at the end we took 4 pics! :D

JOJO'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

We all gathered outside the hall and surprise her while singing birthday song with a cake :)
Cass and the rest were trying to make her hair, like ''hey there's something in your hair and bend down''.
Before that they purposely choose a seat near the carpark whereby Jojo will be back facing us.
And soon after, everyone appeared in front of her.

Eugene was freaking funny.
He was like : '' Omg I so handsome take more pics of me!! ''
And he was so good he paid for the whole brownie.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY XINRONG

Had a celebration for her during recess together with Tianxing.
She didn't expect anything because is not even her actual birthday but we celebrated in advance.

ZHAOYUAN'S BIRTHDAY BBQ.

Only a few of us, the close friends were invited for the advance birthday bbq with his family.
So should I feel honoured or what!?!?
His mum even cooked been hoon for me as I am a vegetarian :)
Also there were fried rice, corn and potato for me too!

Basically, I enjoyed the entire Sat night with his family, him and just the few of us.
It was very simple and heart-warming.
Also, I feel that his family members were really nice to interact with, chatted with both of his sisters.

His 2nd sis asked zy why I keep laughing one.
I find it super funny when I called his sis ER JIE together with zy when taking bee hoon.
ER JIE*laugh* ER JIE*laugh harder* and she was like ?? hahahahaa!!
Like lol to the max lah!!
Zy's reply: he siao one lah everytime in school also like that.

Is it? I thought I am a quiet person and not talkative at all! :P

CASSANDRA'S 17TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

On this special days of hers, it isn't a good day for me.
As I screwed up my English oral lah wtfbbq!
I am so disappointed in myself as I know that my communication in English aren't so bad.
And I have a high expectation to do well.
But I think because of high expectations+me thinking too much=waste effort.
Lesson learnt for me is not to think too much, be natural and everything will be fine.
Yes, focus more on paper 1 and 2. Forget about oral.

I was trying to force a smile on my face and pretend that I am alright.
Was mad tired but I still went to join the rest at Cass's place.
I shouldn't let anything personal affect me and the rest.
Yup so anyway why her house downstairs got this seven eleven underground store.
So cool lah is like if need anything, I do not have to walk a long distance to buy.
Or in the middle of the night when I crave for something to eat(chips,chocolate,etc..),
I can just take the lift down and buy and take the lift up to go home.
Fast and efficient. But the staircase is damn creepy!!
Is like imagine you work in an underground store during overnight shift till next morning.
Oh ya when the whole group of us went to the store,
the cashier keep staring at us and I assume he thinks we're gonna steal or something.

After that, we went into her house like more than 10 of us.
We kept our shoes in a plastic bag and her mum put it in the storeroom.
Then we went to hide inside. Everyone was like ''shh..keep quiet '' and some were busy lighting candles.
And when we heard the door sound and ''pa..ma..I am back''(greetings to her parents)
Everyone was quite excited and when she came into the room without suspecting ANYTHING.
We all scream and she cried immediately lah!!
'' You all very bad lor, big liars! All lied to me. '' HAHAHA.
Lol! Mission completed :)

She treated us to pizza hut and the staff even surprised her too.
We didn't know either, everyone was like ??
The lights went off, our reaction : '' Huh? So early they closing alr ah! ''
Birthday song playing and they served cass a plate of dessert and balloon!
Omg how sweet of them really. Thumbs up for customer service!
Oh ya I think we made a lot of noise too as there's a total of 17 of us.
More than 5 tables combine together! Lol.

Glad that at the end of the day, it brighten up my mood.
Feel kind of down in the dumps after the oral.
I think my emotion will become worst if I choose to stay at home and sleep.
But everything's better so yeah I am trying to comfort myself that everything's gonna be alright.
We had lots of laughter and it was such an enjoyable day for each and single one of us.

CLASS OUTING TO SENTOSA

Woke up as early as 7 in the morning and met the rest at kovan mrt.
And coincidentally saw Amelia and Yunhan omg!!
Amelia was like : '' Jiahao?? ''
Me : '' Turn around right and left '' and was extremely glad to meet them.
It has been so long since I last saw both of them,especially Wongyunhan!

Anyway so after that we headed to Sentosa and I definitely enjoyed myself.
Played volleyball and ate the sand, cough and puke out it out immediately! Disgusting -_-
Also helped to make the waterbomb using seawater.
Our eyes were extremely painful because got salt what and is really umcomfortable after being attacked.

Had amazing race and went around to take pics with random strangers.
We went into the sea and I was trying so hard to float.
Chatted with a group of people together with Mr Danny :D

Bathing part was so freaking funny lah.
We made lots of noise like '' EH SHAMPOO?''
Then we can pass from 1st cubicle to the 4th cubicle hahahaha.
I guess the rest of the toilet users must had thought we were crazy or something.

End off the day when the sky was dark around 7.30pm.
Had dinner in the food court at vivo and soya bean curb at selegie before heading home.
On Monday, everyone came to school with a red face.
And 1 week later everyone's skin started to peel.

Later go see my sun burn from my neck area in the pictures below.
Very obvious lah shouldn't had wore my shirt in the first place.
There IS a colour difference to a certain extent that Danny said I chop off people's head and attach to my own body. And XR couldn't stop laughing.
My pimples are all so red and ugly on my face after sun burn ):

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY

Headed to Plaza Sing with XR,Jo and Cass after school.
Initially, I thought of just joining them for lunch at the purple market.
But then Jo managed to psyco me to join them to buy the materials needed to make a scrapbook for Wong. So in the end I followed them lah!! :)

Gossip about random things on the way to ps!!
And after purchasing the necessary materials, we all sat at the table inside and started decorating.
But I was so tired I fell asleep and woke up again. Lol.
I think the scrapbook was so creative.
2 pieces of wooden cupboard tied tgt,filled with invidual coloured paper with photos and messages :)

Me and cass also make one for Liu Lao Shi.
Without her, my chinese standard won't improve.
She is so kind and generous. Best Chinese Teacher in Yuying I swear.
Yesterday, we all went into her class and gave it to her.
She was so happy she kissed the heart shape book immediately and said thankyou.
Aww... :)

So anyway on Teachers' Day, it was ULTRA FUN IN SCHOOL.
Our class got so damn high we all scream for whatever reasons. Hahah!
And Mr Teo was sitting beside our class also got high with us.. he is so funny omg.
He is a friendly and easygoing teacher which I think can be really fun to play with.
But then because he is the displine master so he have to be fierce and set a standard in front of students.
I remembered the days (sec 1&2) when he taught me PE.
When he can be good if we listen to his instructions and not be late for his lesson.
Everytime when we're late, we as a Junior was very scared lah as in we had nightmare being punished.
Ran up the class change to school uniform(by means no pe shorts and pe shirt inside) within 1 min.
Late again? Ran up again change to pe attire within 1 min too!
That was hell crazy.
Also had our legs straighten up to 90degree for like more than ten mins. -.-'''
Those days were so vividly in my mind as a Junior I was soooo scared of him.
Plus everytime pe was beep test. Had to keep running the same track again and again.

Feel so great meeting ''seniors'' again. Lol seniors as in express peeps!
All alr in jc/poly - I'll join you guys again next year okay!
And I passed my printed photos to Mr Wong, Mr Danny and Miss Jasmine Lee with personalised message.
I will give it to Miss Chan once I see her in school on Thurs :)

Had a good chat with Wong together with the rest after the celebration ends.
And in between got SOOOO many students came to give him presents and ex-students for hand-shake.
He seem to be a nice teacher not just to me, but for everyone else too :)
Oh go and watch the videos on fb when we interview him!! Mad hilarious.

In the night, I called my pri/sec school teachers to wish them Happy Teachers' Day.
It is like an annual thing to call them every year.

YUYING 100TH ANNIVERSARY CENTENNIAL CONCERT AT ESPLANADE

This is like the best concert EVER apart from Starburst in 2007!
Previously when we knew that there was this concert, everyone were not really looking forward.
Till the days drew closer everyone started to feel the excitement.
And everyone in the class were asking around : '' so what are you wearing on that day? ''

And you know what is the good news?
There was a last minute changes when we, the sec 5 actually had VVIP seats.
We were even bigger than those alumini people!!
Before that, half of the class were actually separated.
We sat at the first row like directly in front of the stage. The seats usually cost like $300+
It was so awesome watching our own school performing.
We were given the best seats with the best view as an audience and I felt so fortunate and thankful!
Further more, it feels even better seeing people I knew on stage.
Weiting, daniel peters, ben leow, fidi and so much more! :)

It was a great time meeting good old friends.
Especially those who couldn't make it to sec 5 and chatted with a few.
I hope you guys are still doing well and let's all stay in contact okay!

Once we stepped into the concert hall, the interior design was so beautiful!
And we took out our cameras and cam-whore again!

After the concert, headed for supper but all the seats were occupied.
And there was a heavy human traffic jam when crossing the road. -.-'''
Getting abit emo also when walking again the same old paths around marina area.
Reminded me of the days me and Taiyang work as a banquet waiter last year.
Running to catch the last train, running as we were late for work, a lot more..

Anyway it was such an eventful night I will never forget.
I love the time spent with my class and HI MRS MAHINDA!
See you in term 4 when you're back. So much things happened when you're not around.

Lastly, I am proud of Yuying. You guys did a bang-up job.
Deeply impressed :)

Speech Day 2010

Took a nap after school and overslept-as usual :P
Mr Peh guided me to take attendance with the science lab lady and Miss Lam to check my seating arrangement.
And he himself even helped me to find my seat.
Throughout the whole process we have been talking and he was like ''top(2nd) N level student leh'' Lol.
And Edison even texted me '' wahseh not bad ah! ''

Saw the express people and we're all prize awardees! Isn't it great? :)
Edison & me get the SMC Book Awards for both 'O' and 'N' level respectively for overall achievements and exemplary conduct.
Mine is Lee Joo Jan Book Award. :)
I didn't even expect myself to be in that category! First time.
Top for Combined Humanities(Geography and Social Studies) too.
Plus there is a trophy presented to me! I was totally shock.
Felt honoured to get this award and shake hand with Mr James Lee, chairman of SMC.
Few years back, I was thinking of one day if I can receive an award from him.
So the day arrives-today!
During refreshments, Mrs Chua, Vice Principal smile and came to congratulate me with a hand shake.

PREFECTORIAL BOARD BBQ

There were 4 bbq pits for each department : Training,Event Support,Public Relations and Welfare.
It was a good day catching up with everyone and the weather was great too!
Started off the day by meeting Aaron, Jocelin, Zy and juniors from welfare department at Kovan.

It was extremely hot so once we reached.
Jon,Rachel,Aaron,Zy,Freddy,Leow and I went to macdonal and walked around ehub.
We talked about random topics and about prefects.
Those days of doing duties, raising red card, pulling flag, pledge, announcements, etc.
I remembered while pulling the flag the seniors will say '' faster faster, slower slower '',
and we had to estimate the rhythm ourselves!
Also talked about lame jokes that I guess I was the only one laughing. Lol.
Played frisbee after leaving macdonal. It was soooooo fun + strong wind was blowing in our direction.
I also took this opportunity to learn cycling.

Seniors came and some got drag down into the sea.
Had no choice but also being sabotage to go down the water and got splashed by them.
Muddy,wet,dirty,no extra clothes to change.
Went to the toilet and wash up.

Farewell and goodbye to them at around 9.30pm.
We very thick-skin went to every department and say byebye. hahah!

ESCAPE WITH GRADUATING CLASSES.

Okay I swear it was the best ever
Most of our time were spent at viking and wet&wild.
I only knew that the last time I went to escape was primary 4!
Now I am already sec 5 omg? And it was my second time there.

There was once whereby ALL sec 5's together with teachers(danny,kok,siwei,jameson,justina,) have a ride together.
Everyone were damn high and WE(5N1&5N2) occupied the whole pirate ship!
It was so damn fun seriously we just kept shouting,screaming,cheering,laughing.
Throughout the process everyone were so noisy and it just hype up the whole atmosphere!
And for the firs time I tried sitting at the last row and it was greaaaaaat!

Wet and wild was awesome too! Played more than 5 times.
Got wet like crazy, thankfully to the extra clothes I bought.
But in the end I also didn't change, let it dry while playing other rides.

Haunted house I went in twice.
Thought there would be people coming out to scare us but to no avail.

Also went for this ride (forgot the name) whereby you can just sit on this car and spray water!
Had a hard time parking properly because I had difficulty controlling the direction of the car. Lol!

Yuying 100th Anniversary Food and Fun Fair

It's really such a great time for everyone to catch up with one another :)
Especially seeing all the express mates!
Food food and more food.. I love the coffee ice cream.
Was at the song dedicating booth and they played SNSD gee,tell me your wish,oh,
Shinee's ringdingdong, amigo, juliet, and many chinese/english songs together with kpop songs!
And while at the canteen I saw many people were also singing along while gee is playing.
